Brunch
Brunch
From eleven, the courtyard works as a café. Brunch is served at an unhurried pace, built on Cretan produce.
- Eggs
- Cretan eggs with staka or apaki. Omelettes. Poached eggs and eggs benedict.
- Bread and bowls
- Avocado toast on sourdough, savoury pancakes, healthy bowls with Greek yoghurt, local honey and nuts.
- Sweet
- Fluffy pancakes and the handmade sweets of the day.
- Drinks
- Freshly roasted coffee, traditional choices and fresh juices.
The wine
The wine list
From the afternoon, the courtyard becomes a wine bar.
The list is chosen with care and centres on Greek, and above all Cretan, vineyards. The emphasis is on small growers and on labels that are hard to find elsewhere, such as The Cultist from the Thalassinos winery.
- Whites and rosés
- Native Cretan varieties: Vidiano, the white jewel of the island, Thrapsathiri, Plyto. And Assyrtiko, for those who start from the familiar.
- Reds
- Kotsifali and Mandilari, alongside blends that marry Cretan and international varieties, Syrah and Merlot grown on the island.
Served by the glass or by the bottle.
